Trailer first draft

This is our first draft of our trailer, 'White Ribbon'.
There are a few black screens with writing on to help us remember where to insert the remaining shots we need to film.

How we created the bruises

We created these bruises using different colour eye shadows layered onto of each other to create realistic bruises. In some shots the bruises looked a bit sparkly so we edited them slightly on iMovie.

Title change

We have decided to change the name of our trailer to 'WHITE RIBBON'.
We have chosen this name because the use of a white ribbon represents the 'white ribbon campaign', an organisation that campaigns to stop domestic violence against women.
We thought this was very suitable as our trailer is now focused on domestic abuse and this new title is very fitting with our social realism genre.

Certificate rating for our film

We have decided to make our film a 15 certificate rating.  Because White Ribbon is about domestic abuse, this could be upsetting for some viewers and there will be many violent scenes throughout the film to portray the realism of living with domestic violence.

Genre Decisions

After much deliberation we have decided to change the genre of our film to social realism. After starting work on our trailer we have found that the feel of our film is more social realism focused as opposed to psychological thriller. We are now creating a social realism film about domestic abuse.

Initial Website Ideas

When doing some research on Wix, we found this template that we felt could be really effective for our trailer's brand and overall look. We believe that this layout will work well with the images we have and to fit with the social realism promotional package we are creating.
